Justin is al een tiener uit een excentrieke familie, maar hij zuigt nog steeds op zijn duim. In een poging hiervan af te komen gaat hij naar een leraar op school en vervolgens naar zijn hippie-achtige orthodontist. Die probeert hem onder hypnose van zijn gewoonte af te helpen. Maar zijn orale fixatie krijgt hij niet helemaal weg. Misschien is het slechts een uiting van een dieper liggende oorzaak?
