Katherines leven komt op zijn kop te staan als blijkt dat haar man, genaamd Tony, een seriemoordenaar is. Terwijl Katherine blijft volhouden dat ze van niks af weet, blijven de lokale gemeenschap en de media haar terroriseren. Katherine vindt steun bij Doreen, de moeder van het enige overlevende slachtoffer van Tony. Tussen de vrouwen ontstaat echter een kat-en-muisspel.
