In de schimmige onderwereld van gokkers en professionele kaartspelers is The Dean een legende. Bij zijn pokerspel gaan bedragen om van 100.000 dollar en meer. Maar is The Dean onverslaanbaar? Vernon denkt van niet. Hij heeft een plan bedacht om The Dean te verslaan en een fortuin te winnen. Daarvoor heeft hij de hulp nodig van een stel oplichters en een jonge arrogante pokerspeler. Vernon en zijn partners-in-crime staan op het punt hun slag te slaan, maar in een wereld waarin iedereen zijn brood verdient met bedrog, is niemand te vertrouwen...
