Huisvrouw Annie (Helen Mirren) verdenkt haar man ervan dat hij de beruchte seriemoordenaar The Hawk is, zo genoemd omdat-ie zijn slachtoffers de ogen uitsteekt. Veel van de spanning speelt zich af in het hoofd van de vrouw, die niet alleen aan haar man twijfelt, maar ook aan haar eigen geestelijke gezondheid, want eerder moest ze tijdens een diepe depressie al eens opgenomen worden.
Nee, helaas is The Hawk nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
