In het Wilde Westen leeft een weduwe met haar dochter en een groep verschillende soorten dieren en vee. Wanneer de weduwe geld moet betalen voor de hypotheek van haar ranch en dit niet kan, krijgen de dieren hier lucht van. Bang als ze zijn dat ze nu verkocht moeten worden aan de plaatselijke vleesfabriek proberen ze een plan te smeden om de ranch te redden van de ondergang.
Nee, helaas is Paniek op de Prairie nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
