Empire Records is een heerlijk ouderwetse platenzaak, en de verzamelplaats van een bonte verzameling jong grut. Allemaal kampen ze met hun eigen problemen, dromen en romances, maar wanneer een grote muziekketen de zaak wil overnemen, schieten ze eensgezind in actie. Draai de volumeknop nog wat meer naar rechts en laat je van je sokken blazen door deze Special Fan Edition van Empire Records, met 16 minuten nooit eerder vertoonde fragmenten en één van de swingendste soundtracks ooit, met nummers van Gin Blossoms, The Cranberries, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Cracker, Evan Dando, Better Than Ezra en vele anderen.
Nee, helaas is Empire Records nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
