Deze film speelt zich af in de 23e eeuw. Constantine (John Malkovich) staat aan het hoofd van een bondgenootschap dat de mensheid controleert en de natuurlijke rijkdommen van de aarde uitput. Wanneer een plunderend leger van mutanten een strijd tegen de mensheid begint, krijgt Constantine de mogelijkheid om de wereld te vernietigen en met enige getrouwen te vluchten naar een veilige plaats.
