Een tienerjongen zorgt voor zijn dementerende oma, die ook rolstoelgebruiker is. Wanneer hij hoort dat ze terminaal is, besluit hij om samen met haar en zijn vrienden zo veel mogelijk lol te trappen. Dit ondanks hun benarde financiële situatie en het feit dat hij als kind al zo'n grote volwassen verantwoordelijkheid moet dragen.
