Als meester in magie is kwaadaardige circuseigenaar Sarousch van plan de beroemdste klok van de kathedraal, La Fidele, te stelen. Hij dwingt Madelein, zijn assistente en Quasi's nieuwe vriendinnetje, hem te helpen. Wanneer het zoontje van Esmeralda probeert Sarousch te stoppen, moet Quasi zich haasten om zowel zijn vriendje als de klok te redden. Quasi volgt zijn eigen dappere hart. Ook hij moet door de uiterlijke schijn heen leren kijken om te vertrouwen.
