Adam Cassidy is een ambitieuze technoloog die het ver wil schoppen bij de telecomgigant Wyatt Corporation. Maar na een dure fout wordt hij gechanteerd door de meedogenloze CEO Nicholas Wyatt waardoor hij als spion bij de concurrent moet gaat werken, wat gerund wordt door de oude leermeester van Wyatt, Jock Goddard. Adam boekt al snel succes en belandt in een wereld van boardrooms, privé-clubs en exotische auto's. Maar achter de schermen is hij niet meer dan een pion in het spel van Wyatt en Adam zal een manier moeten vinden om te ontsnappen aan zijn baas, die tot alles in staat is.
