In een dolle bui verklappen Timon en Pumbaa een aantal geheimpjes waarmee de leeuwenkoning niet blij zou zijn. Ze vertellen ondermeer wat er écht gebeurde toen Mufasa zijn zoon aan het volk voorstelde en het tweetal kan bovendien niet nalaten om op te scheppen over het belang van hun 'hakuna matata'-filosofie.
Nee, helaas is De Leeuwenkoning 1½ nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
