Max, een voormalig MMA-wereldkampioen, staat op het punt met pensioen te gaan. Op dat moment ontdekt Max dat hij een achtjarige autistische zoon heeft. Hierdoor staat zijn leven op zijn kop. Terwijl hij traint voor een laatste kans om zijn wereldtitel te heroveren, moet Max omgaan met zijn nieuwe gezin en zijn vader, van wie hij al lang vervreemd is.
