In het mystieke land Predanie neemt het jongetje Taran een heldhaftige taak op zich. Samen met een magisch zwaard moet Taran zien te voorkomen dat de boosaardige Hoornkoning de bovennatuurlijke krachten van een mysterieuze toverketel zal oproepen. Geholpen door de mooie prinses Elonie, het harige schepseltje Gorgi en een helderziend varkentje, moet Taran zijn afschrikwekkende vijand zien te verslaan. Onderweg leert hij de kracht van vriendschap kennen.
Nee, helaas is Taran en de Toverketel nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
