Nadat haar moeder bij een ongeluk is omgekomen, verhuist de getraumatiseerde Rebecca met haar vader Michael naar Jeruzalem. Michael is zelf ontroostbaar, maar wil dat zijn dochter een nieuw leven begint in de stad. Het jonge meisje kan haar moeder echter niet vergeten en het lukt haar niet het verleden los te laten. De spanning tussen vader en dochter neemt toe als Rebecca ontdekt dat er nog een meisje van haar leeftijd in het huis woont.
