Leah Hoffman is een jurylid voor het World Record Bureau. Ze trekt aan het kortste eind en wordt gedwongen om vlak voor Kerstmis naar een klein stadje af te reizen om de plannen te onderzoeken om meerdere wereldrecords voor de feestdagen te breken. Terwijl ze valt voor de dokter van het stadje, Devan Bancroft, ontdekt ze dat het hele stadje samenwerkt en dat zij misschien wel de persoon is die hen kan helpen hun ware kerstdoel te bereiken.
