Steph is een alleenstaande moeder die elk jaar enorm uitkijkt naar Kerstmis. Ze heeft zelfs een concept ontwikkeld waarbij kerstgeschenken anoniem worden doorgegeven. Wanneer haar eigen kerstcadeau bij internetondernemer Jason belandt, wil die dolgraag weten van wie het pakje eigenlijk afkomstig is. Jason neemt contact op met Steph, maar zij stuurt de man op een dwaalspoor.
