Na 41 jaar worden de inmiddels vervreemde bandleden van Spinal Tap - David St. Hubbins, Nigel Tufnel en Derek Smalls - gedwongen om weer bij elkaar te komen voor een laatste concert. Dit zorgt ook voor een wederopstanding van documentairemaker Marty DiBergi, die opnieuw probeert zijn favoriete metalgoden vast te leggen terwijl ze nadenken over sterfelijkheid - en de hoop dat hun twaalfde drummer zich niet bij hen voegt in het hiernamaals. Samen met muziekgrootheden Paul McCartney en Elton John worstelt Spinal Tap met hun bewogen verleden om een concert te geven dat hun plaats in het pantheon van de rock-'n-roll zal versterken.
Nee, helaas is Spinal Tap II: The End Continues nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
