Wanneer Emma's dochter Kendall zich verlooft, maakt Emma zich grote zorgen omdat Kendall en haar verloofde trisomie (syndroom van Down) hebben. Samen met de tutor van de bruidegom overwint ze haar angsten en loopt ze uiteindelijk met Kendall door het gangpad.
