Luis, een 18-jarige jongen met inheemse wortels, gaat naar de Heroic Military College in de hoop een betere toekomst te verzekeren. Daar wordt hij geconfronteerd met een rigide en institutioneel gewelddadig systeem dat is ontworpen om van hem een perfecte soldaat te maken.
