De jonge professionele bokser Keiko werd slechthorend geboren. Haar boksschool is een tweede thuis voor haar, ondanks dat boksen ontzettend lastig blijft. Ze wint twee moeilijke gevechten, maar een angst begint zich meester van haar te maken. Haar grootste uitdaging is niet het volgende gevecht, maar om zichzelf te begrijpen en waarom ze bokst.
