Lucio is een professor literatuur aan de prestigieuze universiteit in Buenos Aires. De academische wereld interesseert hem echter niet meer. Hij wil een verschil maken en draagt bijgevolg zijn kennis uit in de buitenwijken waarin hijzelf is opgegroeid. Wanneer zijn favoriete student Dilan bedreigd wordt door een lokale drugsbaas, kan Lucio niet vanaf de zijlijn blijven toekijken. Bovendien deinst hij er niet voor terug om de morele grenzen te overschrijden en de sociale regels aan zijn laars te lappen.
