Het verhaal richt zich op Gus, een oude scout voor de Atlanta Braves met gezichtsproblemen. Zijn dochter Mickey aanvaardt tegen haar zin om zijn ogen te zijn op een cruciale recruteringsmissie. Ze worden bijgestaan door Johnny, een scout van een rivaliserend team, die altijd erg loyaal ten opzichte van Gus is geweest.
Nee, helaas is Trouble with the Curve nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
