Pablo, een 12-jarige jongen, krijgt een beurs om naar school te gaan in de mysterieuze en afgelegen Colonia Dignidad, gesticht door Duitse kolonisten in Chili. Het lijkt een behoorlijk voorrecht voor een jongen zoals hij, en hij wordt al snel de favoriet van de leider van de kolonie, oom Paul. Na verloop van tijd is Pablo getuige van vreemde gebeurtenissen die hem ertoe aanzetten zich anders te gedragen dan de andere leerlingen.
Nee, helaas is Un lugar llamado Dignidad nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
