Plot

Stanley Windrush is bezig met een studie aan de universiteit, als hij aan het einde van de Tweede Wereldoorlog wordt opgeroepen om te dienen als officier. Al snel is duidelijk dat hij daar niet echt voor geschikt is. Hij komt in contact met soldaat Henry Cox, die veel trucs weet om het leger op te lichten.
