Jack Halsey neemt zijn vrouw, hun volwassen kinderen en een vriend mee voor een droomvakantie in Kenia. Maar terwijl ze zich alleen wagen in een wildernispark, wordt hun safaribusje omver gegooid door een boze neushoorn, waardoor ze gewond en wanhopig achterblijven. Dan, terwijl twee van hen op zoek gaan naar redding, zet een bloedige, wrede ontmoeting met een luipaard en een clan hyena's aan tot een wanhopige strijd om te overleven.
