Een vrouw wijdt haar leven aan haar gezin en cijfert zichzelf hiervoor weg. Op de verjaardag van haar vierjarig zoontje loopt een goocheltruc helemaal fout af wanneer haar echtgenoot in een kip wordt veranderd. Terwijl ze een manier zoekt om haar man terug te krijgen, is ze nu noodgedwongen het gezinshoofd en ondergaat ook zijzelf een transformatie.
