Wanneer Jill Parrish (Amanda Seyfried) thuiskomt na een nachtdienst is het bed van haar zuster leeg. Ze is er zeker van dat de seriemoordenaar die haar twee jaar geleden ontvoerd heeft terug is gekomen om de klus af te maken. Maar de politie gelooft haar niet en ondertussen tikt de klok verder.
