Een verlegen jongeman wordt door een reclamebureau ingehuurd om een enquête in verband met seks in Australië te houden. De man duikt onder in de wereld van homoseksualiteit, travestieten, prostitutie en andere varianten op “de norm”. Tijdens zijn interviews komt hij in aanraking met beroemdheden, zelf uitgeroepen seks experts, pornoacteurs en wetgevers.
