Een tragisch ongeluk leidde tot Kaori's blindheid, maar ze klampt zich vast aan het leven en de kleinere genoegens die het haar nog steeds kan bieden. Ze ontmoet Rui en begint met hem te praten. Rui was ooit een veelbelovende kickbokser, maar er gebeurde iets in zijn verleden. Kaori's glimlach brengt een verandering in Rui naar voren. De twee zijn echter op meer dan één manier met elkaar verbonden. Rui probeert te doen wat juist is.
