Filmmaker Luke Holland bezocht een decennium lang oud-nazi's en trachtte ze te overtuigen om te getuigen voor zijn film. Uiteindelijk interviewde hij meer dan 300 bejaarde Duitsers en Oostenrijkers, waaronder oud-SS'ers, voor zijn documentaire. Sommigen ontkennen de Holocaust, terwijl anderen toegeven dat ze er weet van hadden.
