Joel, een bijtende filmcriticus uit de jaren 1980 voor een nationaal horrortijdschrift, komt onbewust vast te zitten in een zelfhulpgroep voor seriemoordenaars. Joel heeft geen andere keuze en probeert op te gaan in zijn moorddadige omgeving of het risico te lopen het volgende slachtoffer te worden.
