The Rescue' volgt de redding van 12 Thaise voetballertjes en hun coach uit een ondergelopen grot in de zomer van 2018. Wat begon als een uitstapje na de voetbaltraining, eindigde in een nachtmerrie die de hele wereld dagenlang in de ban zou houden. Regisseurs Chai Vasarhelyi en Jimmy Chin werpen een licht op de risicovolle wereld van grotduiken, de moed van het reddingsteam en de grenzeloze inzet van de hele gemeenschap om het leven van deze jongens te redden.
Nee, helaas is The Rescue nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
