Donald speelt houthakker, maar de beoogde boom is toevallig het huis van Knabbel en Babbel. Ze geven Donald veel problemen met het omhakken van de boom, maar uiteindelijk slaagt hij erin. De sluwe eekhoorns weten echter wraak te nemen op de sloper.
