Yvan De Wiel is een privébankier uit Genève. In de jaren 80 trekt hij te midden van een dictatuur naar Argentinië om er op zoek te gaan naar zijn zakenpartner, die spoorloos is verdwenen. Tijdens zijn verblijf stuit Yvan op illegale praktijken waarin zijn bank een aandeel heeft.
