Tegen het einde van de Tweede Wereldoorlog klampen de overlevenden van een getorpedeerd hospitaalschip zich vast aan het leven aan boord van een overvolle reddingsboot. Zonder voedsel, water of onderdak lijkt alles verloren – totdat een griezelig stille Duitse mijnenveger onheilspellend op hen afdrijft en hen een laatste kans op overleving geeft. Terwijl onze bonte bemanning het schip verkent, wordt het maar al te duidelijk dat de Duitse bemanning een duivels lot is overkomen. Het mysterie wordt alleen maar groter wanneer ze een jong Roemeens meisje tegenkomen, blijkbaar de enige overlevende, die hen naar een afgesloten kamer in de ingewanden van het schip leidt.
Nee, helaas is Blood Vessel nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
