Er zijn problemen in Oz. Hierdoor keren Dorothy en Toto met de hulp van Glinda terug naar Oz. Haar oude vrienden, vogelverschrikker, blikkenman en de leeuw laten haar niet in de steek en gaan met haar mee. Dorothy moet de listige Jester zien te stoppen, voordat hij iedereen uit Oz, met het toverstokje van de heks, in poppen verandert...
