Hit Girl en Kick-Ass proberen een normaal leven te leiden als de tieners Mindy en Dave. Met de diploma-uitreiking om de hoek besluit Dave samen met Mindy het eerste superheldenteam ter wereld op te richten. Echter, wanneer Mindy betrapt wordt wanneer ze wil wegglippen om Hit Girl te worden moet ze stoppen – en de afschrikwekkende wereld van gemene meisjes op de middelbare school alleen confronteren. Dave sluit zich hierop aan bij Justice Forever, een groep gemaskerde kruisvaarders onder leiding van de ex-maffioso Kolonel Stars and Stripes.
