De partners van toneelproducent J.J. Hobart vergokken het geld voor zijn nieuwe show. Ze schakelen een goudzoekend koormeisje in om het terug te krijgen door een verzekeringsmaatschappij op te lichten. Maar ze rekenen niet op de volharding van verzekeringsman Rosmer Peck en zijn secretaris Norma Perry.
