Izzy is een energieke 9-jarige. Overscheduled en te laat, Izzy's ouders kunnen haar niet op tijd ophalen op de laatste schooldag voor de kerstvakantie. Een sneeuwstorm maakt de zaak ingewikkelder, maar niet zozeer als een paar slechteriken die bevriezen in een ijswagen. De conciërge van de school wordt ontvoerd door de indringers en het is aan Izzy om de boel te redden.
