Wanneer een geheim wapen in de verkeerde handen valt, moet CIA-agent Mason ‘Mace’ Brown (Jessica Chastain) de handen ineenslaan met de rivaliserende Duitse agent Marie (Diane Kruger), voormalig MI6-bondgenoot en computerspecialist Khadijah (Lupita Nyong’o) en de Colombiaanse psycholoog Graciela (Penélope Cruz).
