De 85-jarige Rose spreekt af met haar dochter Patty en haar kleindochter Allison. Er zijn spanningen tussen Patty, die sinds de dood van haar man een drankprobleem heeft en Allison, die zwanger is en het niet durft te vertellen omdat ze zich afvraagt of ze nog verliefd is op de vader van haar ongeboren baby. Allison treft een oude videocamera van Rose aan. De beelden die erop te zien zijn tonen een nog jonge, verliefde Rose.
