Dave is een uitgerangeerde muzikant die vrijwillig meewerkt aan het begeleiden van de kleuterklas-studiereis van zijn neefje, nadat hij gevallen is voor de onverschrokken onderwijzeres, Miss Caroline. De bedoelingen van Dave worden bemoeilijkt door de aanwezigheid van 's werelds beroemdste kindershow-persoonlijkheid, Teddy McGiggle, die een concurrent is voor de affecties van Miss Caroline. Eén ding waar geen van hen rekening mee heeft gehouden, is een plotselinge zombie-uitbraak. Zal Dave een keer boven zichzelf uitstijgen en kans maken bij Miss Caroline of zijn de zombies hem te snel af?
