Samantha Hodges zit in het laatste jaar van de middelbare school. Ze is ambitieus en neemt haar werk voor zowel de schoolkrant als het jaarboek zeer serieus. Maar dan worden er enkele studenten - die in aanmerking kwamen voor een studiebeurs - dood aangetroffen. Het is nu aan Samantha uit te zoeken wie de dader is, voordat zij het volgende slachtoffer wordt.
