Australiër Ronnie is een restauranthouder die moeite heeft het hoofd boven water te houden. Ze is hersteld van de afloop van haar kortstondige romance met de Britse acteur Henry en is nu samen met de relaxte, trouwe Jeff. Haar wereld wordt echter op zijn kop gezet wanneer Henry met zijn Franse vriendin naar Australië komt.
