De zestienjarige Jessie en Angela zijn van plan Jessie’s verjaardag te vieren aan het strand van Galveston (Texas). Met het geld, dat bestemd is voor de huur heeft Angela daar een strandhuisje gehuurd. Maar dan worden ze beroofd en belanden ze in de gevangenis.
