Loch Ness Terror speelt zich af in een klein dorpje aan een prachtig meer. Alles is rustig en vredig totdat er plotseling mensen spoorloos verdwijnen. Zowel op het land als in het water. Niemand lijkt te kunnen ontkomen aan het bloeddorstige zeemonster dat in hun midden leeft. Niemand behalve misschien James Murphy, die 30 jaar geleden tijdens een boottrip naar Loch Ness ternauwernood aan de kaken van ditzelfde gruwelijke monster wist te ontsnappen. Samen met de lokale sheriff Karen Riley gaat Murphy op jacht naar het monster om eens en voor altijd het moorden te stoppen.
