Jim en Danielle en Yvonne en Chris vormen twee stellen die in de voorsteden van Dublin wonen. Op papier lijken ze allen een gelukkig leven te lijden. Wanneer er op een dag een woordenwisseling ontstaat bij een stel beginnen er scheurtjes te ontstaan in beide schijnbaar stabiele huwelijken.
