Nick en Janine leven gelukkig samen, totdat de ex-man van Janine roet in het eten gooit. Hij verdraait de tijd, met als doel de twee uit elkaar te halen. Hierdoor verdwijnt langzaam de realiteit, en tevens ook de herinneringen van Nick. Hij bevindt zich nu in een moeilijke situatie, aangezien hij alles op alles moet zetten om de liefde tussen hem en Janine stand te laten houden.
