Papillon volgt het epische verhaal van Henri "Papillon" Charrière, een kluiskraker uit de Parijse onderwereld die onterecht werd veroordeeld voor moord en daarvoor levenslang krijgt in een beruchte strafkolonie op Devil's Island in Frans-Guyana, Zuid-Amerika.
Nee, helaas is Papillon nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
