Tib de zwarte kat leidt Mary naar een stel vreemde bloemen in het bos. Daar ontdekt ze een kleine bezemsteel en staat versteld als die tot leven komt. Voor ze het weet zweeft ze over de boomtoppen, boven de wolken en rond het terrein van het Endor college, een school voor heksen.
